ABVP activists attempt to attack Ponnam Prabhakar home in Karimnagar

ABVP activists on Wednesday attempted to attack the home of Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar in Karimnagar, protesting against the State government’s alleged indifference in releasing fee reimbursement funds.

Police foiled the attempt as a group of activists tried to rush towards the



Minister’s home at Mankammathota. Barricades were already placed in the area to block their approach, and police managed to prevent them from entering the premises.

The agitating student union members were taken into custody and shifted to the police station after being forcibly moved into police vehicles.
