7.5 crore budget released for Overseas Scholarship Scheme

Government has released 7.5 Cr. towards Overseas Scholarship Scheme for minority students. In this connection Secretary Minority Welfare issued GO RT 152 on Thursday. The amount has been released as 2nd

quarterly instalment of the current year.

Government has earmarked a budget of 30 Cr for the scheme. 7.5 Cr was released in the first phase; equivalent amount has been released on Thursday.
