7 teachers from Telangana get national teachers' award

As many as seven teachers from Telangana were honoured with the national teachers' award by Vicepresident, Venkaiah Naidu, in New Delhi on Tuesday .

The awards were conferred upon them on the occasion of Teachers Day , to recognise their performance in ensuring academic excellence. The teachers were among the 219 teachers,



including 124 information and communication technology teachers.

The teachers were presented with a medal, certificate and reward of `50,000 from Telangana include -Valgot Kishan, Kukkamudi Janardhan, Manthati Narayana, Nunugonda Vijayalaxmi, Gundeti Yogeshwar, Kandukuri Surendar and Potta Ramarao.
