6 workers die in pharma company explosion in Hyderabad

Six workers died while another sustained injuries after an explosion inside Hasitha Pharmaceutical factory on city outskirts on Monday morning. The injured was admitted to a private hospital.

6.15 a.m. The six workers working near the reactor died on the spot," Ibrahimpatnam ACP Narayana told. 

There were 11 workers in the factory when the blast took place. While eight came to work on night shift, the remaining reported to duty in the morning. Four of the victims were from Chattisgarh and two from Andhra Pradesh.
