5K run organized in Adilabad 'Police Commemoration Day'

A 5K run was organized to mark the Police Commemoration Day, here on Friday. Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan inaugurated the event by flagging off the run.

Around 1,500 people including fitness lovers and youngsters took part in the run which began at Indira Priyadarshini stadium and passed through important junctions of the town. 

The event



culminated at the stadium after covering the collectorate, NTR, Vinayak, Nethaji and Ambedkar chowks. Akhil Mahajan took part in the run to inspire the participants and public.

Speaking on the occasion, Akhil said that the district was now experiencing peace and development due to sacrifices made by policemen in the line of duty. He stated that the sacrifices were unforgettable.
