5.80 kg ganja chocolates seized in Khammam

Khammam: Khammam Prohibition Excise Department officials conducted surprise searches in the limits of the Edulapuram Municipality and seized 5.80 kg ganja chocolates.

Excise Inspector B Chandramohan informed that during searches in the houses behind Vinayaka Granite factory near Gurralapadu ganja chocolates were seized in the



house of one Banoth Hariya.

The accused bought ganja chocolates from Odisha and sold them locally. The accused was arrested and sent to remand. Excise Department staff R Surendra Kumar, SK Maulakar, B Guruprasad, B Narasimha and B Bhadramma took part in the searches.
