Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that supply of 'sanna biyyam' has begun at all the ration shops in the villages. Over 5.61 lakh new ration cards were also issued in the state.
Taking to X, the CM said that all ration shops were bustling with activity with the supply of 'sanna biyyam'. In addition, the 10-year long wait by the poor for new
ration cards also came to an end.
Food guarantee has been provided to over 3.10 crore poor in the state as each of them would get 6 kg 'sanna biyyam' free.
The fulfilment of the poor people's needs showcases the strong resolve of the Congress government in Telangana towards the uplift of the underprivileged, he said.
