55-year-old woman dies by suicide in Mangalhat

A housewife died by suicide at her house in Mangalhat on Friday night.

According to the police, B Balamani (55) stayed along with her son at Old Mallepally in Mangalhat. On Friday night, while her son was at work, she hanged herself



with a saree in the bedroom in the house.

The family members told the police that she slipped into depression following the death of her husband a few months ago and might have ended her life.

A case is registered.
