50 students hospitalised due to food poisoning at Gadwel Hostel

Over 50 students of the BC Hostel at Dharmavaram under Erravally mandal were hospitalised due to food poisoning on Friday night.

The students initially received preliminary treatment in 108 ambulances. However, as their condition worsened, they were shifted to the Government General



Hospital in the district, according to reports.

Praveen, a native of Kondapur and a student from the hostel, said they were served cabbage curry and sambar for dinner. Soon after eating, several students began vomiting and fell ill, he said in a video that has been circulating on social media.
