5 Kg Alprazolam worth Rs.50 Lakh Seized in Siddipet, 3 Held

Based on information that some persons from Maharashtra were supplying Alprazolam to persons known to them in Siddipet, the Excise State Task Force Team intensified surveillance on Siddipet Ponnala main road and checked a car that had arrived



from Maharashtra. 

They identified five kg of Alprazolam worth Rs.50 lakh in the car. Along with Alprazolam, the car and five cell phones were also seized after arresting three persons Challagarige Srinivas (40), Komuravelli Sharath(36), and Muthyala Venkatesh(41). The arrested persons were handed over to the Siddipet excise station for taking further action.
