3k nominations filed from 11 urban local bodies in Adilabad

Over 3,000 nominations were filed from 11 urban local bodies, including one municipal corporation and 10 municipalities, on the final day of the process across the erstwhile Adilabad district on Friday.

Officials said a total of 3,393 nominations were received from 60



divisions of the Mancherial Municipal Corporation (MCC) and 268 wards of the Bellampalli, Chennur, Kyathanpalli, Luxettipet, Adilabad, Asifabad, Kagaznagar, Nirmal, Bhainsa and Khanapur civic bodies. The nomination process continued till late evening, with officials working till midnight to process the data.
