35-year-old woman found murdered in Khammam, case booked

A woman was found murdered on the road at Kasba Bazaar area in Khammam city during late night hours on Friday.

Locals, who spotted the woman in a pool of blood with her throat slit, informed the police. The woman was identified as Prameela (35), the wife of an RMP doctor of Bhadrachalam in Kothagudem district. It was said that the couple was living separately for



sometime now in view of family disputes.

Prameela moved to Khammam and was working in a shopping mall, where she was allegedly being stalked by one of her husband’s friends after the couple got separated. Police suspect that the man who harassed the woman night have committed the murder.

A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
