35 students fall ill after mid-day meal in Karimnagar

Around 35 students fell ill due to suspected food poisoning at the Government Girls Primary School in Jammikunta on Monday.

The students complained of vomiting and other health problems after eating lunch served under the mid-day meal programme at the



school. The staff rushed them to a local hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Their condition is said to be stable.

Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar spoke to Collector Pamela Satpathy over the phone and enquired about the incident.
