The Rachakonda police will deploy 300 police personnel, install 200 surveillance cameras apart from pressing into service three mobile vehicles equipped with surveillance cameras for Ganesh immersion at the Saroornagar Lake.

Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat held a coordination meeting with officials of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Ganesh Utsav Samithi members here on Tuesday.

“All necessary arrangements have been made for the immersion here. There will be eight cranes



installed,” Bhagwat said, adding that arrangements for parking, water, medical help and power supply too were made.

The Commissioner also visited the Jalpally Lake in Pahadishareef and reviewed arrangements. Later, he visited the Balapur Ganesh and reviewed security arrangements. He interacted with the organisers, Balapur police and security teams on strengthening the security. He handed over one Auto Fire Off ball as part of fire safety measures.
