30 passengers injured after TGRTC bus brakes fail in Asifabad

A woman passenger sustained serious injuries, while 29 others received minor injuries when TGRTC bus in which they were travelling drifted into a cotton field due to a brake failure on a ghat road near Parandholi village in Kerameri mandal early on Thursday morning.

The bus carrying around 40 passengers from



Parandholi village to Adilabad suffered failure of brakes when it was on a slope, resulting in the mishap. 

The driver showed spontaneity and steered it into a cotton field and averted a major accident. The injured passengers were admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad.
