The sleuths of Regional Narcotics Control Cell (RNCC), Railway Police and EAGLE Force nabbed three accused persons for possessing ganja weighing 11.767 kg worth Rs.5.88 lakh Half a dozen packets of ganja wrapped with brown tape at Risalagadda Haveli were sourced from Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh through train.
The accused persons Burthi Raju Kumar, Yarnagula Lakshmi Jagadeesh, Marampudi Ravi Raju and Reshwanth alias Nimmu, all natives of Andhra Pradesh, decided to earn easy money by procuring
ganja at low price in Vishakapatnam and selling it in Hyderabad at higher prices.
On July 20, they procured ganja from unknown persons in Vishakapatnam and came to Hyderabad the next day by train and reached Risalagadda Haveli.
One of the accused Reshwanth told three others to wait at Risalagadda and left to bring receivers.
Meanwhile, the EAGLE Force officers along with Musheerabad police apprehended the three accused persons with seized material.
