2BHK houses to be inaugurated in Bansilalpet today

The 2BHK Dignity Housing Colony in CC Nagar, Bansilalpet built under the State government’s Double Bed Room Housing scheme is scheduled for inauguration on Friday. MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the houses. 

These 248 dwelling units spread over 18 blocks are built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 1,922 lakh. With a plinth area of 560 sft, the cost of each dwelling unit



worked out to Rs 7.90 lakh apart from Rs 0.75 lakh as the cost of infrastructure for each unit. The infrastructure provided includes CC roads, external electrification and drinking water.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and other elected representatives are also expected to participate in the inaugural function.
