The Pahadishareef police recovered a total of 23 lost mobile phones using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) technology.
The recovered mobile phones were handed over to their rightful owners at the police station premises in the presence of senior officials.
The victims, who had earlier reported the loss or theft of their mobile phones, expressed their happiness and gratitude towards the
police for their prompt response and dedicated efforts in tracing and recovering the devices.
The initiative reflects the proactive approach of the police and the effective utilization of modern technology in ensuring speedy redressal of complaints.
The police advised the citizens to immediately report lost or stolen mobile phones and make use of CEIR services to block and trace their devices.
