Minister of State for Road, Transport and Highways and Corporate Affairs, Harsh Malhotra Minister has announced that 22 more Wayside Amenities (WSAs) will be developed across Telangana state. He inspected a WSA near the Mandamarri toll plaza in the Komaram Bheem Asifabad district yesterday. In a social media post, the minister said, the National Highway Authority of India is currently developing these facilities with essential amenities like fuel stations, EV charging points, clean toilets, drinking water, parking areas, eateries and dormitories for



truck drivers. En route to Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, the minister visited a WSA near Mandamarri village on the Mancherial- Repallewada section of the National Highway.

The Minister later visited the Central Library at Asifabad, constructed for 1.5 crore rupees under the Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission. He reiterated the government’s commitment to the development of 119 aspirational districts across the country. He assured more amenities for the libraries.
