At least 20 passengers were injured in a road accident involving four vehicles, including three buses, on National Highway-65 at Rudraram in Patancheru mandal on Saturday.
According to the police, a TGSRTC bus was stationed at a bus stop to allow passengers to board. A private travel bus slowed down as the TGSRTC bus had almost blocked the road.
Meanwhile, a Karnataka State Road
Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus following the private travel bus rammed into it from behind, causing the private bus to collide with the TGSRTC bus. At the same time, a car travelling behind the KSRTC bus crashed into it after the driver reportedly failed to control the vehicle.
At least 20 passengers travelling in the TGSRTC and KSRTC buses sustained injuries in the mishap. No fatalities were reported.
