A person barely two feet tall, Veerababu who once struggled to find a livelihood is now earning Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,500 a day and has become an inspiration to many. 

He says this transformation was possible with the support and guidance of Khammam Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Augustya, IAS. 

Veerababu expressed gratitude to the Mayor, Municipal Commissioner for extending their support. Veerababu, a postgraduate and native of Tekulapalli, has 100 per cent disability. His parents earn their livelihood as daily-wage labourers. He said he had approached several



people in search of employment before meeting Khammam Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Augustya.

With the commissioner's support and guidance, Veerababu said he became self-reliant and started a Xerox centre under Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme. He said he also helps people fill out various forms at the xerox centre which has become an additional source of income. 

He said he started the Xerox centre about a year ago and is also preparing for competitive examinations with the hope of building a better future. He said that he is taking care of his parents and is extremely happy.
