2 Bodies Found Under Suspicious Circumstances On Highway in Suryapet

Two bodies were found in suspicious circumstances near Sringinagaram, under Kodad town limits, close to the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway. 

According to police, the duo was reportedly returning to Kodad after eating outside on Friday night and were coming on the highway when the incident occurred. Locals who saw the bodies immediately called the police. 

Kodad Police later identified the deceased as Ramu and Shiva from



Bihar with the help of the locals. Both were said to have been working as labourers at a rice mill in Kodad for the past two years.

Police initially suspect that they may have died in a road accident. However, the police recovered clothes and items strewn around the place and a two-wheeler near the bodies, prompting them to register a case under suspicious death. Police are examining various angles, and the bodies have been sent to Kodad Area Hospital for post-mortem.
