160 Detonators Found in Private Venture in Bollaram

Around 160 electrical detonators were found in a private venture within the limits of Bollaram police station. The detonators were discovered in a light green plastic bucket placed near the wall behind the firing range, close to the Golf Enclave venture. 

The suspicious bucket was noticed by locals, following which the police were alerted. On inspection, officials found eight bundles containing a total of 160 electrical



detonators inside the bucket.

Police have launched an investigation to ascertain who placed the detonators at the spot and for what purpose. In a clarification, North Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ch Sridhar said, “The detonators were not found in army area but in a private venture and it's not an army property. The detonators are suspected to be used by land or plot developers there at least before one year or above”
