The Hyderabad police are making foolproof arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Sri Ram Navami Shobha Yatra scheduled on Thursday in the city.

Senior police officials, including Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, will be monitoring the procession from different places on the Shobha Yatra route.

According to senior officials of Hyderabad police, around 1,500 policemen drawn from various units of the city police with the assistance of Rapid Action Force were being deployed to oversee the security arrangements.

The police will be stationed on rooftops and police pickets posted at sensitive spots.



The entire procession will be monitored from the command and control centre with the help of surveillance cameras and drone cameras.

The social media team of the IT cell and the SMASH team will monitor the social media platforms to check for any abusive content that could impact the peaceful atmosphere in the city, officials said.

The procession will start from the Seetharambagh temple at 9 am and culminate at Hanuman Vyamshala Koti at 7 pm. It was pass through Mangalhat, Dhoolpet, Begum Bazaar, Siddiamber Bazaar, Gowliguda, Putli Bowli, Koti and reach Hanuman Vyamshala.
