15 arrested for gambling, cash Rs 89,160 seized from them in Adilabad

Fifteen persons were arrested for indulging in banned gambling at a function hall here on Saturday night. Police seized 89,160 in cash, 13 mobile phones and six motorcycles from the accused persons.

Gangareddy, Kola Bhojanna, Mentapu Mahesh, Ineni Kiran, Bollu Naresh, Angineni Dinakar, Thingeni Pochanna, Akula Sai, Gunjela Pradyumn and Routu Sateesh were apprehended when they were committing the offence in Balaji Function Hall on the outskirts of the town at around 1 pm, following a tip-off.

A case was registered against 15 persons and investigations were taken up.
