14-year-old boy dies as Cell Phone Explodes in Adilabad

A 14-year-old boy of Gudem village in Chintalamanepalli mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district died following suffered serious to his jaw when the battery of his cell phone exploded on Wednesday morning. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
In his complaint, father of the deceased, said his
son studying in Class 8, suffered grievous injuries when the battery of the cell phone exploded. He had been rushing with his son to the hospital when the boy succumbed to his injuries on the way.

The father informed police that his son had been tinkering with the battery of the phone being charged when it exploded.
