123 teachers, faculty members selected for Telangana State Teacher Awards 2026

As many as 123 meritorious teachers/ faculty members from school, intermediate, and technical education, universities and affiliated colleges have been selected for State Teacher Awards 2026.

Of the total awardees, 52 are from the School Education department, 28 from universities, 29 from university-affiliated colleges, 11 from intermediate education, and three faculty from



government polytechnics. The awards will be presented during the Teachers’ Day celebrations scheduled for September 5.

Meanwhile, the government selected Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education A Sridevasena, Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak, and SCERT Director G Ramesh for excellence awards in recognition of their contributions to the field of education.
