1.19 Lakh Ganesh Idols Immersed in Cyberabad

As many as 1,19,667 Ganesh idols have been immersed across Cyberabad during the ongoing Ganesh utsavam.
Alongside the immersion arrangements, the Cyberbad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has been collecting flower waste separately at the immersion points. Over the last 11 days, around 6,000 kg of flower waste has been collected.
The
collected flowers are being segregated, dried and processed into useful products such as incense sticks, dhoops and diyas — giving the floral offerings a second life beyond the immersion.

With more idols still expected, the CMC will continue the arrangements and flower-waste collection today and tomorrow across the designated immersion points.
