In a dramatic display of courage and selfless service, two emergency technicians of 108 ambulance service walked two kilometers on a railway track in the dead of the night to rescue a grievously injured passenger, who fell on the tracks while travelling in Dakshin Express.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 3 am on Thursday near Ghanpur railway station, Jangaon district, Telangana, when a passenger, identified as
Avinash from Ballarshah, traveling from Hyderabad, fell onto the railway tracks.
According to unconfirmed reports, due to heavy crowding, Avinash was reportedly standing near the entrance when he lost his balance and fell onto the tracks near Ghanpur station, sustaining serious head injuries.
Railway officials immediately contacted the emergency services, prompting the dispatch of a 108 Ambulance crew.
