A whopping 10 lakh plastic covers were recovered from 12 shops in Begum Bazar, the biggest commercial hub in Hyderabad, on Friday during surprise inspections by the enforcement vigilance and disaster management, GHMC.  The authorities sealed four shops for failing to fall in line. Eight shop owners gave us a written undertaking that they will not store plastic covers and repeat the offence. So, we gave them a chance. Owners of four shops did not respond and we sealed them, said Viswajit Kampati, director EVDM.
