10 ganja peddlers arrested in two days in Hyderabad

The Cyberabad police stepped up its drive against ganja peddlers; it registered seven cases and arrested 10 peddlers in last two days. Another six cases were registered against those persons involved in sale of illegal tobacco products and four persons were arrested.

Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, M Stephen Raveendra, said constant surveillance is maintained on the bulk buyers, local sellers and transporters of ganja. The public are asked to



inform on Whatsapp number 9490617444. The identity of the person who is informing will be kept a secret, the police assured.

Meanwhile, the Hyderabad City Police arrested 11 persons and booked 11 cases against those involved in ganja trade on Tuesday. A total of 21 persons who were involved in ganja peddling were identified by the police while 11 were caught red-handed in the trade and arrested, a press release stated.
