State Bank of India Deputy General Manager K Pratapa Reddy assumed charge as the new Chairman of Telangana Grameena Bank (TGB).
The 51-year-old science graduate has two decades of work experience in SBI. Earlier, he had served as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) for two years. The Telangana part of
APGVB operations are now amalgamated into TGB.
The TGB is India’s one of the most profitable regional rural banks with a total business of Rs.73,791 crore. It has declared a net profit of Rs.675 crore for the fiscal year ended on March 31, 2025, a press release said.
