Fatehnagar bridge staircase collapses, two injured

Two people were injured when a portion of the Fatehnagar flyover bridge staircase collapsed at Sanathnagar on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when the over 30-year-old pedestrian staircase which was already damaged, had suddenly collapsed when pedestrians were on



it.

Two persons who suffered superficial injuries in the incident were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.

The Sanathnagar police reached the spot. They suspect the staircase would have absorbed rain water and collapsed.
