CHARMINAR: Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi threatened to launch fresh protests if the Hyderabad Metro Rail does not begin work in the Old City.
Taking to a micro-blogging site, the Hyderabad parliamentarian hinted at a protest if authorities ignore the south zone. In another tweet, Owaisi also sought

to know why the HMR had not conducted a soil test at Falaknuma for the past four years.
Speaking to TOI, Owaisi said, "What is stopping them from doing the necessary work at Falaknuma to Shah Ali Banda? This sends out a wrong message to the people of Old City. We have made some suggestions, but the ball is in their court now.
