Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress seem to have entered the final phase of their discussions on the common minimum programme to form the government in the state.

As per sources, negotiations between the three parties on all issues for a proposed coalition government are underway and it is expected that the formal announcement of their alliance is going to happen soon.

BJP and Shiv Sena fought elections together and have a comfortable majority to form the government but the two parties didn't reach any consensus on the '50-50 formula' that led to the break-up of ties.

Shiv Sena has been trying to form an alternative government with NCP and Congress and working on a common minimum programme. As per sources, Uddhav Thackeray will be the Chief Minister while NCP's Ajit Pawar and Congress' Thorat will get deputy CM's post.
