A major fire broke out in the warehouse of a shop at Ranigunj early on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.

According to Fire officials, the fire broke out in the warehouse of an electrical goods store,



after which locals alerted the police, who in turn informed the Fire and Rescue Services.

Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to contain the blaze. The firefighting was still on when reports last came in.
