Former professional wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, popularly known as The Great Khali, was involved in a road accident in Panipat, Haryana, on Saturday after his SUV collided with another vehicle at a toll plaza. Footage from the incident quickly began circulating on social media, prompting concern among his fans.
Khali has since addressed those concerns by sharing a video on Instagram, reassuring everyone that he is doing well. Describing the incident as a minor mishap, the former WWE star said there was nothing serious to worry about and confirmed that he was safe.
"Yesterday, my car met with an accident, and since then I have been receiving a lot of calls and messages asking about my
well-being, but everything is okay. I am all well. It is your blessings and also the God’s blessings are with me. It was a minor accident and which is why I did not want to tell anyone about it because I didn't want to make it a big deal, but then the video went viral on social media, so I just wanted to clarify. But I am all well. Take care, Jai Hind," said Khali in the video.
The video from the accident site shows the front of a white car sustaining visible damage. Khali, however, can be seen walking away from the scene before getting into a black Scorpio. The vehicle's driver waits for him to settle in before leaving, with the footage suggesting that Khali did not suffer any injuries in the collision.
