In Nepal, Indian men's volleyball team will clash with Pakistan in the finals of 13th South Asian Games today.

The much-awaited encounter of the games will be played at Dasaratha Rangshala in Kathmandu in the afternoon.

Expressing confidence Indian captain Jerome Vinith said, the team is fully geared up and India will continue its winning streak. Coach G E Sridharan said, India has an outstanding record in South Asian Games and his team will beat Pakistan in the finals.

In the women's section, India will clash with host Nepal in the evening. Though India had defeated Nepal at the group stage Nepali girls had given them a tough fight.

Nepal and a large number of supporters cheering up for the home team, the India-Nepal finals is also expected to be a thrilling one.

In badminton, Indian men's and women's teams clinched gold medals in the team event.

India defeated Sri Lanka in the finals of both the sections at Pokhara last evening. Indian men's team beat Sri Lankan by 3-1 while women defeated their Sri Lankan opponents by 3-0. On the first day of the games, India was at second place in medals tally winning 16 medals including 5 golds, 8 silvers and 3 bronzes.

Hosts were at the top winning 15 golds, 3 silvers and 6 bronzes and Sri Lanka were on the third position with 3 golds, 7 silvers and 14 bronzes.
