Malaysia Open Badminton tournament kicks off in Kuching, Sawarak today. Rio Olympics Silver medalist PV Sindhu, who won her first India Open recently, and Saina Nehwal will lead the Indian challenge. Ajay Jayaram, Sai Praneeth and Ashwini Ponnappa are also among the Indian shuttlers taking part in the 6-day



competition.

The pairs of Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy and Arathi Sunil and Sanjana Santosh will be seen in action in the Women's Doubles first round today. Sindhu, Saina and other Indian shuttlers will begin their campaign tomorrow. While Sindhu will take on China's Chen Yufei, Saina will meet Akane Yamaguchi of Japan.
