India's All England Open title dreams were washed away after 22-year-old Lakshya Sen lost in the men's singles semi-finals to Jonatan Christie on Saturday, 16 March. Lakshya played an incredible game in the semi-final against the World No. 9 Christie but ended up losing 12-21, 21-10, 15-21 at the Utilita Arena in

Birmingham.

On the day, both shuttlers found their range and made it a riveting watch for the crowd with a sensational battle that lasted one hour and eight minutes.

Sen pulled off a strong comeback after losing the first game, but was not able to match Christie's resilience in the final game of the match.
