India qualifies for semifinals of FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup in Valencia, Spain

Valencia: India has qualified for the semifinals of the FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup in  Valencia, Spain. Along with India, Spain has also qualified for the semifinals. While India pulled out a close 2-1 win over Japan, Spain registered



a comfortable 3-0 win over Korea.

Both teams qualified for the semi-finals as their six points can not be matched or bettered by two other teams in their pools.
