Former finalist Saina Nehwal's run in the All England Championship at Birmingham ended yesterday after she lost  to World No.1 Tai Tzu-Ying of Taipei 15-21 , 19-21 in a 37-minute quarterfinal clash.  It was her 13th straight defeat against Tai Tzu-Ying, who has not lost to Saina since 2015.

In men's singles quarter final later, seventh seeded Srikanth will take on World No.1, Kento Momota of Japan.
