Ace shuttler PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal have entered the quarterfinals of the BWF French Open in Paris yesterday. World No. 9, Saina defeated Denmark's Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt 21-10, 21-11 in straight games, while Sindhu outclassed Singapore's Yeo JM 21-10, 21-13.

Indian men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also made it to the quarterfinals. They notched up a



stunning 21-18, 18-21, 21-13 win over the world No 2 pair, Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan. The Indian duo will next face Denmark's Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.

Indian shuttler Subhankar Dey crashed out of the ongoing French Open after he was defeated by Indonesia's Shesar Hiren Rhustavito 21-6, 21-13 in the second-round match.
