Bali: Indian shuttlers had a good day at the Indonesia Open Badminton 2021 in Bali on Friday. The reigning world champion P V Sindhu raced into semifinals of the Womens' Singles event of the tournament, beating Korea's Sim Yujin 14-21, 21-19, 21-14. She will face second-seeded Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in the semifinal.

In the men's doubles event



Indian pair of Satwik Sairaj and Chirag Shetty also moved into semifinals beating Malaysian duo Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin 21-19,21-19 in 43 minutes.

However, India's Sai Praneeth lost his quarter final tie against the Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark, in the men's singles 12-21, 8-21.
