In the Santosh Trophy Football championships, Odisha edged out Manipur by a solitary goal at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri last night. Odisha's Kartik Hantal gave his side the lead at the 37th minute of the match.
With this win, Odisha has four points from two games, while Manipur has three points. In another
encounter at Kottappady stadium earlier, defending champion Services beat Gujarat 3-1.
