In French Open Tennis, World number one Novak Djokovic, No.3 seed Alexander Zverev, sixth seed Carlos Alcaraz have progressed to men's singles third round.

While defending champion Djokovic saw off Slovakia's Alex Molcan, Zverev overcame Argentina's Sebastian Baez.

Later, Spaniard Alcaraz saved a match point in the fourth set and rallied from 0-3 in the fifth set to defeat countryman Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

Former Grand Slam champions Angelique Kerber and Victoria Azarenka advanced to the third round of Women's Singles. Kerber, defeated French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot. Azarenka, a two-time Australian Open winner, defeated Andrea Petkovic.

In Men’s



doubles event, India's Ramkumar Ramanathan and American Hunter Reese defeated the all-German duo of Daniel Altmaier and Oscar Otte in first round.

In the mixed Doubles, 10th seeded Sania Mirza with her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig defeated German-Mexican pair of Laura Siegemund in the first round.

The pair of Sania Mirza and Lucie Hradecka will begin their women's doubles campaign today.

India's Rohan Bopanna will be in action in the mixed Doubles with Andreja Klepač tomorrow. The Indo-Dutch pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middelkoop have advanced to the second round of men’s doubles event and will take on A. Golubdev and F. Martin today.
