The Netherlands lifted their fourth FIH Junior Women's Hockey World Cup title after beating Germany 3-1 in the final at Potchefstroom, South Africa yesterday evening. Giving an early lead to the Netherlands, Danique van der Veerdonk scored first goal in seven minutes. Then, Germany's Sophia Schwabe equalized the score in 32nd minute. Just after two minutes, Tessa Beetsma restored her Dutch team's lead to



2-1.

Beetsma then bagged her brace in 44th minute. With a superb performance, the Netherlands conceded their first goal of the tournament in summit clash. Till the final, the Netherlands had scored 46 goals and conceded none. Earlier yesterday, England defeated India 3-0 in the shoot-out after a 2-2 draw to claim the bronze medal in the third-place match.
