Melbourne: In Australian Open Tennis, unseeded American Madison Keys powered into Women's Singles semifinals after knocking out French Open champion and fourth seed Barbora Krejcikova 6-3, 6-2 on Rod Laver Arena in the last eight this morning.

In the other Women's Singles quarterfinals, top seed Ashleigh Barty will be locking horns with American Jessica Pegula this afternoon for a place in the last four. Home favourite Barty defeated American Amanda Anisimova in the fourth round while 21st seed Pegula ease past fifth seed Maria Sakkari.

In Men's Singles, Sixth seed Rafael Nadal will face Canadian Denis Shapovalov in the last eight at Melbourne Park today this



morning. The Spaniard, Nadal, who is chasing a Men's record 21st Grand Slam title, defeated Adrian Mannarino in the fourth round while 14th seed Shapovalov overpowered third-seeded Alexander Zverev.

In the other Men’s Singles quarterfinal, 17th-seeded Gael Monfils will play Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini this afternoon. Italian seventh seed Berrettini thrashed 19th seed Pablo Carreno Busta and Monfils overcame Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic in the fourth round.

In Mixed Doubles, Sania Mirza and her American partner Rajeev Ram will take on the Australian duo of Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler for a place in the semifinals.
