In Badminton, Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth has entered the men’s singles Round of 16 beating in the Hylo Open at Saarbrücken, Germany last night. Srikanth defeated France’s Arnaud Merkle 11-21, 21- 13, 21-10.

no.18, Kirsty Gilmour, in straight games. This is Malvika’s second win over a higher-ranked shuttler.

In a men’s doubles match, Krishna Prasad-Vishnuvardhan Goud made a pre-quarterfinals exit losing to Denmark’s Kim Astrup-Anders Rasmussen 21-17, 21-13.
