These are tough times for

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Virat Kohli. The team is languishing at the bottom of the table, having lost eight out of their 11 games. RCB batsmen have not delivered this season while the bowling has lacked any teeth. With their play-off chances over, they will be hoping to spoil the party of other teams and it begins with Kings XI Punjab.
Glenn Maxwell's KXIP has not performed consistently. However, they head into the match having bowled Delhi Daredevils out for 67 in their previous encounter. With a 11-8 head-to-head record against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab will be hoping to build a winning momentum. However, Kohli will be desperate to avoid the wooden spoon.
